Michele Vaughn currently works as a Research and Technology Manager at Johnson & Johnson in Wayne, PA. Previously, she worked as an IT Project Lead at Janssen Pharmaceuticals, and in politics as the Chairperson of the Chester County Democratic Women’s Leadership Initiative and the Chester County Democratic Committee. Finally, she served from 1997 to 2003 as Township Supervisor for Whiteland Township.

Ms. Vaughn received her bachelor’s degree of science in Chemistry from the University of Delaware. Later, she earned an MBA in Pharmaceutical Studies from Philadelphia’s University of the Sciences. Her background and experience center the pharmaceutical industry’s function as a business. Specifically, she specializes in technical business solutions, access and affordability programs, and balancing the roles of payer, provider, and patient in reimbursement decisions.

Ms. Vaughn’s political career began in 1997 when she was elected as Whiteland Township’s Supervisor.
