Dr. Peter Vacca is an anesthesiologist at Abington Hospital. He entered the anesthesiology staff in 2003. He is also a partner at United Anesthesia Services, P.C., a firm he has worked for since 1999. Since 2012, he has served on the company’s Board of Directors.

Dr. Vacca received his Bachelor of Sciences from Villanova University in 1989 and his Doctorate of Medicine from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in 1994. Before joining United Anesthesia Services, Dr. Vacca completed residencies in internal medicine at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine and in Anesthesiology at Jefferson Medical College. In addition, in 1999 he completed a Fellowship in anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Dr. Vacca holds a certification in anesthesiology from the American Board of Anesthesiology. He specializes in Cardiac anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and acute pain management.
